Andrew Bozzelli
Welcome to my website! I’m currently an East Coast based actor. I graduated with a certificate in musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NYC in early 2020. Originally, I'm from Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
To me, being an artist is all about exploring different angles of the human condition and reflecting that back for people to empathize with and ponder. As people, we are all so beautifully complex. Unraveling that complexity and attempting to make some concrete meaning out of it is my lifelong endeavor. Thank you for coming along for the ride!
Bio
My theatre debut was as a tree in my elementary school’s play Nuts. Fast forward a few years: I’m in the locker room and my friend bets me twenty dollars that I wouldn’t get cast in the school play Bye Bye Birdie. I was also motivated to audition to impress a cute girl I knew, so the stakes were pretty high. Well, I did audition for that show, and I played a mean Conrad if I do say so myself. Girls have come and gone over the years, and I never got my twenty bucks, but I got much more; I got my life’s passion.
Very quickly, I fell in love with the craft. I loved the exhilarating rush I received while on the stage. I loved telling a story. I loved the conversations I’d have with audience members after a production - hearing their thoughts sparked from the performance. It felt good to cause people to consider important ideas, or even just to have a good time. I've been hooked on that feeling ever since.
